Mark: the creator who doesn't draw

Not everyone in this space starts as an artist. Some start with an idea, and the willingness to figure it out.

Mark is one of those people.

Not the artist, but still creating

Mark will tell you straight up — he's not the one drawing.

"It may be a bit embarrassing to admit, but I'm not the one who actually draws."

Instead, he works with others to bring his ideas to life. And for him it has never been about money.

"I'm not doing this for income. I do this to support the community."

In a space where a lot of people come and go, Mark stayed for one reason: the people.

"Since 2021 I've been in different communities… but it's only here that I found something real."

How it started

Mark didn't jump in confident. He started by being honest — telling the community outright that he wasn't an artist and didn't know how to draw.

Instead of shutting it down, he was encouraged to try anyway. So he did. He spent days watching tutorials, practising, trying to learn. But it wasn't clicking.

That's when he pivoted.

When no one believed

If he couldn't draw, he could collaborate.

He reached out to friends who could create, but most didn't believe in it. Some thought it was a scam. Others said they'd help, then disappeared. It hit him harder than he expected.

Then something changed. His wife noticed.

"She asked me what was wrong… I told her no one believed in my idea."

She's a teacher, and she reached out to one of her students. That student said yes. No hesitation. And that's where everything started.

"Thankfully, the result turned out well… and the student was happy too."

Finding Web3

Mark's entry into Web3 wasn't through art. It was through airdrops and giveaways. Back in 2021 he was active every day, searching for opportunities. Sometimes he won, sometimes he didn't.

Then one moment changed everything. He won a giveaway from an XRPL builder who genuinely cared about his community — and Mark did something unexpected. He gave the prize back.

That moment turned into a connection, and that connection introduced him to NFTs.

"Because of him, I learned about NFTs… and I'm very thankful."

The process

Mark starts with meaning. An idea. A story. A message. Then he works with the artist to bring it to life.

"I make sure the concept and message match the artwork."

Creating with purpose

Right now Mark is focused on his Bible story project.

"As I read and create these stories, I learn lessons myself."

This isn't just content. It's personal.

"It helps me understand life better."

That's what drives him. Not sales. Not hype. Purpose.

Even when things slow down, he doesn't stop, because for him this isn't about the market.

"It's about the message and the impact my art can have on others."

Life behind the screen

Mark creates at night, because during the day his phone isn't his — his child is using it. So he waits until the house is quiet. That's when he builds.
