Originally creating under the name MadMaxi, the artist lost access to the account after it was hacked. Attempts to reclaim or reuse the name didn't work out.
Rather than abandoning it entirely, he embraced the situation creatively. The new handle references the familiar internet error code — "404: Not Found."

MadMaxi is a graphic artist from Argentina with a background in industrial design, but his creative path began long before formal training. He has been drawing since childhood, exploring painting, drawing, animation, and 3D work.

"If you see my drawings from back then and now, they pretty much carry the same style."

A Web3 journey
MadMaxi has been active in the blockchain art space for over four years, originally building on Cardano. Recently he expanded into the XRPL art scene, bringing his established style and conceptual worlds to a new community of collectors and artists.
