Some artists start early. Others find it later, and run with it.
Robin is one of those.
Finding art later in the journey
Robin first stepped into crypto back in 2017, but art wasn't part of the plan then.
Over time she explored different mediums — oil painting, acrylic on canvas, even paint on silk. But it wasn't until recently that everything shifted.
"It's only the past couple of years that I turned to digital arts."
That shift started with something simple. An iPad. Procreate. And a decision to try.
"That was the start of my digital path and creating NFTs."
The influence that changed direction
Like a lot of artists in this space, one connection can change everything. For Robin, that was G.
"I met G and his artwork is what inspired me to do old school cartoons."
That influence helped shape her direction, but it didn't stop there. Robin kept building, learning, and evolving.
"I guess I've come a long way… but I still have much further to go."
Adding her own flavour
One moment that pushed her work further came from outside Web3 entirely: a visit to a Picasso exhibition at the British Museum.
"I decided to add a flavour of Picasso to the Dood collection."
That's where things started blending. Old-school cartoon style, with touches of Picasso influence, mixed into the DOOD world. And it didn't stay solo — others joined in.
"Others came on board to create some truly original and exciting pieces of art."
The power of collaboration
For Robin, one of the biggest highlights has been collaboration — especially working with artists from different parts of the world.
"One of the highlights for me was collaborating with the Japanese artists."
That kind of experience changes your work. Different styles. Different perspectives.
"Each artist has their own unique style."
And through that, her own style evolved: "My artwork evolved… as I added a little anime to some of my pieces." That's what happens when you build with others instead of alone.

Robin has been quietly putting in work across the XRPL, contributing to collections including Noggins, The Collective, Doodles, Sleeping Giants, Dood Goobles, BEAN OF HOPE, and You Are The Money — along with artwork for multiple other projects.

"I would invite anyone who says they cannot draw to have a go… you might just surprise yourself."
